DUBLIN — Dublin VA Medical Center is sending seven veterans to the National Veterans Wheelchair Games. To send “The Magnificent Seven” off to Portland, Ore., a pep rally was held Friday in the facility’s Main Auditorium.

A rehabilitation and wheelchair sports program co-sponsored by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the National Veterans Wheelchair Games provides veterans with spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological injuries a forum to maintain active and healthy lifestyles through wheelchair recreation and sports competition.
